Eberlin PAPYRUS EBERS
At the time of the Egyptians, around 1500 BC, the Ebers Papyrus – which was discovered thanks to the German Egyptologist Georg Ebers – was drawn up, the oldest known medical treatise, where medicine and treatments with plant extracts are described for the first time. It details 700 substances extracted mostly from the plant kingdom, which helped them to cure diseases and balance body and mind.
